🌍 Globe Williams International at La Biennale di Venezia: A Celebration of Global Art and Cultural Exchange 🎨

📍 The global art community gathers annually in Venice from May to October for La Biennale di Venezia, an event that brings together diverse forms of artistic expression, from dance to theatre. At this year’s 60th edition, under the theme “Foreigners Everywhere,” pavilions from all over the world showcased exceptional talents across various disciplines. This theme resonates with the global identity of Globe Williams International, and we were honored to witness an event sponsored by renowned global brands like Swatch, Illy Café, and supported by esteemed educational institutions, including Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia and Università Bocconi in Milan.

🌐 Representing Globe Williams International at La Biennale was Alonso Arias, our Regional Business Development Manager. Alonso took part in this vibrant cultural event, experiencing first-hand the incredible works on display and building connections with artists, institutions, and global thought leaders.

🤝 As a company with a rich history of collaborating with museums, galleries, international exhibition spaces, academic institutions, and large convention centers, Globe Williams naturally felt drawn to the remarkable work of La Biennale di Venezia in 2024. The event provided Alonso and our Business Development team with an exceptional opportunity to connect with emerging trends in the art world, explore national pavilions from countries where Globe Williams has a presence and immerse themselves in the cultural landscape that defines Venice.

🏛️ A special moment for us was visiting the Greek Pavilion, curated by the National Museum of Contemporary Art. This year’s installation, “Dry Lands,” offered an authentic glimpse into the life of the paniyiri, a local celebration of Greece’s countryside. Through a unique combination of live irrigation machinery, video projections, and a recreated paniyiri atmosphere, the installation beautifully captured the heart and spirit of rural Greek culture—drawing enthusiastic responses from both Greek and Italian visitors.

La Biennale di Venezia was not just an event; it was an inspiring journey that deepened our understanding of the global art scene, multicultural collaboration, and creative expression.

Catch up in Venice – Arrivederci until 2025!
